Personal Blogs with a Professional Business..

Hello There! So nice to be able to sit, relax and drink a cup of coffee and gather my thoughts together. I've been dreaming, and thinking for a while of starting a blog. I think the main reason that I haven't is due to the fact of failure. I don't want to start a blog no one reads or wants to look at. So I thought, Why haven't I ever blogged or posted some thoughts on my website? That's already a blog. I always hesitated towards writing personal things on my photography website / facebook. Why? Because as a young business owner (20) I already have to steer clear of anything that would show UN-professionalism. I didn't want my future clients to come look at my page and see my personal life, my weird thoughts or funny sayings. I'm not afraid of who I am, but I am afraid of not looking professional to my future clients. Hmm.. Those thoughts. Recently I've started doing "behind-the-scenes" photos on my facebook page. This has helped me break out of the shell a little, it's fun for clients to see all the hard work we put into the business. Long hours of editing, e-mailing, coming up with new packaging ideas, the actual time to take the photos.. It's a lot! I got the urge to want everyone to see also how fun it is. That we can go to a wedding, be professional, but relate-able to the bride and the people around us. That's my key word. Personal, relate-able. The two words that I've basically built my business on. I'm a personable person, I love to be able to get to know you, your family and friends. Especially on a wedding day, I don't want to be a stranger in the corner with the camera capturing all these beautiful moments. I want to be there with you, cherishing those moments and laughing with you! So here it is in a nutshell, It's time to get personal. I'm now going to start posting some blog posts, maybe about life, instagram, media.. Maybe even some of my photography secrets. I'm no genius, but I've got some tricks up my sleeves. It's going to be fun, and you can really get to know me and how much I care. So here I am, ready to share things with you even more, on a personal fun level. I'm excited, So let's get started.

Stay tuned.
