Antigua Guatemala portrait session my first photography bucket list check off! John and Anna so graciously let me stay at their home in November, and it just seemed like the perfect idea to gift them with images together. Their anniversary was the Monday I left, so it was perfect! Antigua, Guatemala is currently my favorite city in the world. It's full of vibrant colors, culture, amazing food and amazing architecture. We walked around Antigua, ran into a ton of locals and just had a blast photographing. The rain was coming in, so we had to rush it a little bit- but we had a blast running around the city finding the best spots. John and Ana also did a lot of wedding portraits in Antigua, so it was super awesome to see the places where they took their wedding images and reminisce with them! I could easily find myself living in this city forever. I hope that you enjoyed some of my favorite images from our session in Antigua! Dreams do come true, I think yes!

Caleb and Melanie at Tucquan Glen. These two, humble, creative and in-love souls. Melanie is a gem, a pure selfless spirit with a creative heart. I was so excited when she contacted me about a session and some creative ideas in mind. My heart was flooding looking at her Pinterest board. I love sessions like this, totally natural walking in the woods with a gorgeous flower crown. (Thanks to my girl Megan at Pearls and Petals.) Melanie, also, is an awesome blogger. She has a blog called The realization of Good. It's always on point, and always inspiring. Caleb, a farrier, Melanies husband and a kind soul. He had such a gentle and patient disposition- hiking with two crazy creative girls in the woods, that takes some game and he's got it. These two needless to say are absolutely perfect each other, and I was happy to capture this 'just-because' lovely session for them. Enjoy some of my favorite moments!
I had the honor of photographing Bethany Kramer. She started "A Simple Palate" an awesome blog consisting of delicious but healthy food, her heart + some must have tips from Target! She's a creative, humble, and genuine lady. I have the privileged to call her family (basically), and I was so pumped when she asked me to photograph her!I myself have made a few recipes, and looked at a few tricks on her blog. Not only are they delicious, but there is recipes for everyone! And I know it's only to get better and better, so you should definitely start following her now! We spent the afternoon laughing, chopping beautiful vegetables and snapping images. What a good day! Here's a few of my favorite shots.
Be sure to follow her.. everywhere! For mouth watering images + recent blog posts!
